Volkswagen Selects Vredestein Quatrac for New VW Caddy OE

Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles has selected Apollo Tyres’ latest Vredestein Quatrac all-season tyres as original equipment (OE) for the new Caddy.

The agreement means that Quatrac tyres in 205/65R15 99H XL specification will be fitted as standard to selected Caddy models at point of manufacture, at Volkswagen’s production facility in Poznan, Poland.

This is the latest OE supply agreement to be reached between the Volkswagen Group and Apollo Tyres. Late in 2021, the two organisations confirmed a deal to supply Vredestein Ultrac and Sportrac 5 summer tyres for the all-new Audi A1 Sportback.

 

The Quatrac tyres chosen for the Caddy meet a range of challenging performance criteria, offering high levels of fuel efficiency (class A), superior handling in wet, snow and dry conditions, as well as affording impressive comfort and a quieter ride. To support Volkswagen Caddy customers in the long term, the Quatrac will also be available on the European replacement market.
