Modern Tyres Sponsors Bangor Super Trial Easter 2017

Adam Raga, world number 2 trial bike rider, competed in this years Bangor Super Trial Easter 2017 which was sponsored by Modern Tyres.

The event was held on Easter Monday and Tuesday, as part of the family carnival in Bangor, Moto Trial NI held their 4th Arena Trial with none other than Adam Raga!

 

Adam Raga, multiple world champion and current number 2 trial bike rider, pit his skills against the trials display designed by course builder Andy Perry.

 

The format this year had 10 sections of rocks, trees, concrete, steel, wood and even a piano. The tree trunk section was built around a tipper truck and there was even a section specially designed for the course which was made up of the legendary cranes from Harland & Wolff.

The course really was a test of skill and agility especially with the cranes only being 4 inches wide.

 

The youngest rider at the event was Josh Hanlon, only 16 in his first proper big time arena event and he certainly showed he has massive potential as he was the only rider that could match Adam Raga with a clean run on the last section of lap 2.

It was an excellent few days with great weather conditions that made the whole event a superb time out for all the riders, fans and families that attended.
