Alastair Fisher takes 2nd place at the Tipperary Stonethrowers Rally

Alastair Fisher and Gordon Noble come close to the top spot at this years Stonethrowers Rally in Clonmel, Tipperary.

The action was fast and furious with only seconds separating the top cars on the first loop of stages. The dry conditions continued with fast stage times being set. Alastair managed to bring his Ford Fiesta R5 home in 2nd place but finishing 1st in the R5 category.

This was the 6th round of the Triton Showers National Rally Championship visiting Clonmel’s challenging tarmac roads. The rally took place on Sunday the 7th August over 153km’s with 22 cars hammering their way through the 9 stages.

Alastair is joint leader in the Irish Tarmac Championships and will be getting ready now for the Ulster Rally in a few weeks time.
